The one thing that is important understand is that if your pH is too acidic enzymes cease to function properly.
This puts the priority on remineralizing your body with minerals from high quality, whole foods that your body can use to react against excess acids to produce the electromagnetic energy to power your body functions.
Enzymes are good and it is good to consume foods raw so that you can get the value of their enzyme content.
What is more important is that you are consuming high quality foods with the proper mineral content. Eating poor quality raw fruits and vegetables is not going to make you healthier than eating those foods cooked.
Blackstrap molasses is that part of the protocol that always hangs up the raw foodists that I share the protocol with. They say, it's a processed, cooked food with all of the "life" cooked out of it.
When cooking food concentrates the mineral content of food than the cooking is a good thing. When raw sugar is processed into refined white sugar, they strip the minerals out of it and the minerals end up getting concentrated in the molasses. When this is taken in the context of the protocol with a weak acid like lemon juice or ACV, the mineral content is more easily converted into electromagnetic energy which powers your body functions and helps you heal.
