kelp differences?

Hi All,
I ordered some NW icelandic Laminaria Digitata kelp and it is not brown at all.
It is lighter green and less strong of a taste than the Ascorpyllum Nosodum.
Seaveg has LD in whole leaf but it is brown and dark.
Is there a way to tell for sure which kelp I have recieved?

With Frontier, the delivery as the best I have ever had.
I have never had any LD before, so I have nothing to compare mine with?

This is a reply to # 1,480,863The reason I am asking in this forum is because I have already talked with the supplier.
They said it was Laminaria Digitata, but this is their customer service person.
I think dfams1 said they are very sensitive to the differing kelps and may know the differences.
