When are you going to tell us who you are and how you got your medical expertise???
You're so smart and wonderful
Thank You so much for sharing with us in here.
I wrote a book on AIDS shortly after its appearance, but never published. People really don't want to hear the facts about this topic.
So I started a new book on osteoporosis, osteomalacia, and osteoarthritis. It is not your typical take glucosamine and chondroitin garbage type book. I go in to detail about the anatomy and physiology of bone and cartilage, and explain the purpose of each nutrient, how bone forms and breaks down, why bisphonate drugs actually weaken the bones, etc. It is about 2/3 done and I may actually finish it one of these days :-)
write faster hve lol:), my gran has osteoperosis so know doubt it would be a useful book.
Hard to do when you guys are asking so many questions :-)
ive got her on silica from DE(is this ok at her age) and off the bad calcium supp she had.
Silica is even more important as we get older.
My business partner has been trying to get me to do that for a while with all my saved responses from other boards I used to post on. But as with everything else I need to do I have to find the time.
I remember the topic of a FAQ coming up, but don't recall exactly what was said.
About cholesterol and bp not having anything to do with each other.
If cholesterol was causing problems say with the heart, clogged arteries maybe then surely that would raise bp.
Yes, narrowing of the arteries will raise blood pressure. But cholesterol deposition, like blood pressure, have nothing to do with cholesterol levels. A person can have high cholesterol and low blood pressure or low cholesterol and high blood pressure. levels of one does not alter the readings of the other.
Anyway it is inflammation that causes arterial plaque, and if there is any damage done, then the cholesterol comes to heal and repair, and then builds up. I believe that is correct, so cholesterol is not the primary cause.
I haven't read any of the writeups yet, just what i'd read in the past.
Ah, a student that was paying attention in class when I went over this before
The books would answer all our questions.
Nah, I am sure you will still come up with more :-)
You should limit your time on the forum. We want you on hand to answer all our questions, but books on the health problems most of us have, with acurate information, would be fanatastic.
I post on non-medical boards as well, and have so many other projects to work on so it would not make much of a difference. But if all goes right I will have my ranch real soon then I will have a lot more time to write as I can also turn over our business to my business partner so I can focus more on other things I plan to do.
I for one don't want your knowledge to be wasted. Get it all down in writing for the future health of thousands of people, not just us lucky ones that have stumbled upon your forum. And turn the establishment upside down, and make some dosh for yourself at the same time.
I have been posting on health boards for over a decade. And I have saved copies of nearly all my responses. So the information is not going to be lost. One way or the other I intend to get most of it out there.
I know i'm shooting myself in the foot by saying all this. But this is too limiting for you.
I got herbs for that too
You should say do a couple of days where you answer our questions, don't want to lose you for good, because of our incessant questions.
You'll regret it if you don't get on and do the work.
I brought over my voice recognition program over to install in this computer, which willl help a lot. I tend to type with two fingers. Pretty fast at it, but talking is still easier and faster.
