Hi Healthyfasting,
Thanks for the great advice, I will definitely try to slow it down a little bit and aim for a happy balance. I haven't set a goal as far as the number of days I want to do because in the past I have found that to be detrimental to my fasting. When I have set a number of days for myself I find that I spend everyday obsessing over, "Ok, this is day 5, that means only 25 days to go. Ok, this is day 6 only 24 days to go.." and I don't spend as much time appreciating the effects of the fast, and then I lose my focus. I have thought about doing the fast until I lose about 40lbs, but really my main goal is to overcome my unhealthy relationship with food. I think when my brain stops going mmmmmm pizza when my body is obviously not hungry is when I'll start looking to end the fast, until then I just take it day by day- and it's really been working well! Thanks again for the advice!
