I tried to talk to Pioneer a year ago, about how the ND was finding that what I needed most for the herbal products were not just for parasites, but also for candida. Candida will always be found with parasites. It takes different herbs than what is normally found in parasite killing products, to also deal with the candida.
People can have mold exposure from years prior, through moldy environments, moldy foods they are unaware of, the use of alcohol, antibiotics, if they lived on a farm/ranch- moldy hay, moldy grain, chicken coops/feathers. The minute my daughter started bringing in her boxes to store here, coming from the Pacific NW..I could immediatly smell the mold. They were unaware of the smell of it, but the minute I walked into their house in that area, the smell of mold immediatly hit me. Stuff grows on the roofs there!
DOES getting a toxic, moldy environment cleaned up, automatically get rid of the mold metabolites that have now been breathed in and have taken up residence inside of a person? Ever heard of "Valley Fever"? It's fungal infections people get from breathing in the dust in different areas- mine included. The wind blows here constantly. The alkali dust is always blowing. Have you ever seen what a person looks like that has to ride a horse behind a herd of cattle that are walking ahead of them in that powdery dust? All you can see is their eye balls. My mother-in-law talks about raking hay that had been rained on, turned and rained on again, turned and rained on again--and she and her husband both being black from head to toe.
Candida is a very serious thing that needs to be dealt with...one lady that used to post here often, had a father who died of systemic candida.
The Vietnam Vet that has the books, tv show, and web site about how serious candida as a base of many diseases is, says it best: "Candida IS a parasite!" http://www.knowthecause.com
His books are well worth reading. And, the interesting thing is-- much of his knowledge of candida as a base of many diseases (including cancer), comes from mycology books from 1940. "They" knew then, that candida IS serious.
What you will find, by doing your own searces, is that the most common start of fungal/candida infections, are antibiotic use- even from years prior. As a child, did you have ear infections? Amoxacillin. Going back even further..as a child, did you have a cold? A shot in the butt with penicillin!! For everything!
Hulda Clark doesn't just talk about parasites in her book, she talks alot about the molds/fungi found in common foods we eat--but people seem to over-look that part of her book. You can find information everywhere about how contaminated with mold our food supply is. The USDA talks about the different (universal) mycotoxins found in grains, corn, peanuts etc. It's allowed in certain percentages..that includes the products that are made from that stuff.
What feeds candida? Sugar. Gallons and gallons of apple juice, with the idea of it being for the liver flush--feeds candida. Phos drops can be used in water, and malic acid can be taken in supplemental form without feeding the candida. Eating meat and protein, does NOT feed candida! Look up the FAQ's on the "know the cause" website, for the Phase 1 diet--it's not the typical "candida diet". The foods that are eliminated, are the foods known to have mold spores- peanuts, peanut butter, anything made with flour/grains, anything made with yeast, anything made with corn ("universally contaminated with mold, according to the world health organization")
and sugars, because--what does it take to make bread rise when you are making it from scratch?? sugar added to the yeast.
One of the reasons I quit posting on Dr Sutter's forum, was the "one shoe fits all" thing with the idea that everyone is all in the same boat, and it has to be Barefoot's dewormer, or they weren't going to be successful And that, to be successful, the liver flush has to be done exactly as Doc designed it. He didn't design it. He tweeked Sam Biser's Coke flush, and he'll be the first to say that himself.
I know Dr Sutter and what's he's said pretty well myself, and yes, I am grateful for his being here as he was when we were starting here in very bad shape. Literally, probably not too darned far from death.
But..does that mean that everyone that comes here HAS to do exactly as what we've done, and as Dr Sutter has done, because they are that sick too? No. No one is all wearing the same shoe size. We are not all in the same, exact boat. There's no reason a person that is more normally infected, not grossly infected like the sicker ones have found themselves to be--to have to keep taking dewormer day in and day out forever. Three months minimum and go on maintenance.
Who I know Dr Sutter gives credit to for literally saving his life--is Hulda Clark, and her book that came out when he figured he was also on his way out. At that time, he would also be the first to tell you that the choices available for parasite killing herbal products, were not very many. Barefoot's was not around at that time.
There are plenty of good quality dewormers available today. When people think the only choices they have are the ones found here on CZ, they aren't thinking for themselves, they are going by what people tell them has to be done. The Humaworm protocal of "you have to" only be on it for 30 days and off it for 90...what about "you have to" take Barefoot's, because...it's the best on the planet." Is it? For everyone? There have been plenty of people here that have said it wasn't what worked best for them. The important thing..and Dr Sutter has said it too--is to find what does work best for you..and use it!
I gave up trying to talk to people that had blinders on, about how different products do have different herbs in them that hit things in a different way. And how that staying on the same exact thing day in and day out for months on end (now I can say years on end, because this is now 2 years) is not a good thing. For several different reasons. Dr Sutter doesn't tell people to keep taking the dewormer every day, day in and day out, once the load is killed off. For me, that was at 14 months straight of seeing the parasites in the toilet, non-stop. Now..my maintenance that is working, is one week during the Full moon phase, and one week during the New moon phase. It's not an old wives tale- that really is when they are most active, and most vulnerable to being hit. One week on..one week off..one week on...one week off.
The VRM2 product I took for 5 1/2 months that killed roundworms (and microfilarial lymphatic/blood parasites- which I now know goes with the Lyme's I didn't know I had at the time), is taken in "cycles"...10 days on- 5 days off- 10 days on- 5 days off.
Dr Sutter is right--you know instinctively when you have the load killed off. And when it's time for "maintenance"..and when to back off from killing them. The idea of having to take something to kill them every day for the rest of your life.. is still giving the parasites control because of the obsessive worry of becoming reinfected. People have also found, that backing off for week or so, are able to hit remaining worms that think they have been hid out..because, they come out of hiding, thinking the coast is clear- and then you nail them again when they are not expecting it. It works too!
I think Dr Sutter used to say that for maintenance, he used to take parasite killing herbs for the first week of every month--but then he went to every 3rd day, in case something hatched out. But definetly not day in and day out past that point, and with the idea that it had to be done daily for the rest of a person's life.
It's pretty hard to restore good bacteria to the gut, and get a handle on systemic candida, when natural antibiotics have been taken for 24 months, and are still being taken daily to kill bacteria (oregano oil, for one). Over and over again, rotating herbs is talked about- NOT staying on the exact same thing all the time.
The Awareness Clear that Dr Sutter has said time and again was one of the main products he used, has a different herbal mixture than what is found in Barefoot's..and includes herbs that also kills candida. Yes, it's going to cost you money that sounds like alot, but every time I made some kind of switches to different products (with the help of the ND that had experience with people with parasites), I would hit something in a different way.
BTW.."None of this is cheap", and I'll add to that, that none of this is quick neither.
Proprietary blend of Oregano Leaf, Clove Flowers, Black Walnut Seed Husk, Peppermint Leaf, Nigella, Grapefruit, Winter Melon Seed, Gentian, Hyssop Leaf, Crampbark, Thyme Leaf, Fennel.
Recognize what's missing from what people think has to be used to be effective for parasites?? Wormwood...Artemisia. Why would it be a good idea for people to switch off of Barefoot's and do the Clear instead for a change?? "Different herbs hit different things from a different angle..and with the parasites will come bacterias, viruses, and candida" my mantra for some time now.
The other thing, is exactly what Watering said in a post not too far down...and what people would find for themselves if they would do their own searching/reading, and not have the idea that "it's natural herbs so it's safe..take it every day for the rest of your life".
The type of artemisia makes a difference. Artemisia Absinthium, which is the most common Artemsia used...is not meant to be taken long term. It builds up in toxicity with long term use- and with long term use, it is an addictive narcotic. I've also found just in the last couple of days, that many of the herbs I've been taking, have a warning that I've never read before that says "if you are allergic to ragweed, you shouldn't take this herb". That would be me- and no, all that liver flushing hasn't "cured" my allergies, including food allergies. There's still alot of clean up I have to do yet- including a mouth mess/metals to go with the Lyme coinfections.
Dr Sutter has no teeth, and I am thinking he said he never had amalgams before that? People with heavy metals issues, won't get a handle on candida without also addressing them too. How much does Hulda Clark talk about the toxins/heavy metals in her book? The entire thing- and it's NOT just with parasites- it's with the viruses, and bacterias and candida too.
Am I one of those people just trying to scare people off from Parasite killing? Dr Sutter knows I'm not. My battle with parasites has been a hard fought, long one too-- but, there's been alot of "co-infections" found along the way too. Alot...and not something that herbs will clean up. The Rocky Mtn Spotted Fever I asked Dr Sutter about 2 years ago- is definetly still active with the Lyme coinfections. It was 40 years ago that I had the tick on the back on my neck that made me so sick with it. Little did I know how it could still be affecting me all these years.
Azurite, mentioned Rife to me from the very start. He/she was right. I know it's a necessary tool in my ongoing battle with what more has to be cleaned up.
And liver flushing with no gallbladder also, has had to be a consistent thing right along with this. I lost count of how many flushes a long time ago. Dr Sutter lost count at 450. It doesn't matter what number you are on. The important thing is to listen to your liver and do them when you have to.
For me, that's had to be once a week, sometimes more often than that. But the point I want people to get is, study things for yourself, and not because someone tells you it has to be this way or that way exactly. It does not. Listen to your own body. I don't know how many times I "knew" I had to do 3-4 nights of consecutive liver flushes, and was never wrong- there really was that much more stuff needing to come out. Old stuff? No. It's stones that keep on forming in my liver- and not because of parasites.
But, what I'm learning now is the need for the balance (critical with no gallbladder) of the bile salts, with the choline, to take care of the cholestrol that forms the stones. There IS a difference here of people that are going through this with a gallbladder, and people that are going through this withOUT a gallbladder. Everyone is NOT in the same boat!!
If someone had told Dr Sutter way back when, that just because he couldn't gag down the epsom salts, that he couldn't then do any other kind of liver flush because "the Hulda Clark one was the one he HAD to use to be successful"....do you think he would have kept on liver flushing?? Heck no.
Gibby saying she gagged at trying to get the mix down because the oil doesn't mix with the lemon very well, and being told that she had to keep with Doc's way specifically to be successful- no changes at all...how long do you think she would want to keep doing the flush specifically like that if she knew it was going to make her sick every time just trying to get it down?? That probably would be her last one.
I will be the first to say that going off of the exact liver flush instructions, and coming back and reporting about how it worked to use something a bit differently, like was posted recently...would not go over very well here because of the mind-set that it HAS to be done specifically Doc's way. DOC HAS SAID IT, DO IT HIS WAY EXACTLY, END OF DISCUSSION- PERIOD! and, I'M TIRED OF REPEATING MYSELF, READ!! I wouldn't have stayed around here had veterans been talking to me as a new person like that. I know what a brain fog Pioneer was in when she came on CZ--reading and absorbing stuff was a pretty difficult thing to do for quite a while. Dr Sutter, and others, maintained their patience!
With the food sensitivities I've found in this stuff, I've had to make changes and tweak things in the way I do the Coke Flush, which BTW, is the exact same instructions I got from the ND. The Sam Biser Coke Flush, cut in 1/2 for ingredients (but the ND's flush also combined the HC flush, in still also using the epsoms with it) And, low and behold, not following it exactly as written.. IT STILL WORKS WELL! What do you know? I'm here to report it. Am I going to be leading people astray now because I said they CAN tweak things and make it work for them??
Pink Grapefruit juice is alot easier to get mixed with the oil, and goes down much better than the lemon/oil mix. DOES it have to be the sour lemon to work? No. I can testify to that time and time again. Orange juice works, believe it or not... Lime works well... Lime and orange juice together work well. When people get sick just from the smell of the olive oil--guess what, other oils work too!
What I know Dr Sutter would say, (if he were around posting for himself)--is to find what works for you, and do it! If that's the Hulda Clark flush, do it. If it's using grapefruit juice in the Coke flush instead of lemon juice--do what you have to rather than giving it up entirely from having to try to keep taking something that makes you gag to get it down!
It's too bad Dr Sutter isn't around much anymore, because every new person that comes here--has the same bit of apprehension about this stuff because it's not something they've done before. The one thing I've told Dr Sutter time and again was "thank you for your patience", and I sincerely mean that.
Yes, I do know how tiring it gets in repeating yourself, and yes, people can go read back posts..but what IF Dr Sutter and veteran people had been telling people this stuff for a full two years before we came on here looking for guidance? And we were met with impatient people like I've seen here the past couple of days, that were tired of repeating information, and were indignant about the thought that people might want to try something a bit differently??
Dr Sutter can post the stuff that new people will continue to ask over and over again, at the top of his forum under FAQ's..like the Liver Flush instructions, and the dosages/directions for what he says to do for parasite killing. It is his forum, after all.
