you may have started losing your hair long before but you typically have to lose a certain amount from the top i think it is about 50% when you start noticing that you are balding. i do not know at what percentage it starts but at some point you will be able to see the skin. it could be that you have reached that point now not just having a stresfull year. you are 29 so it is not exceptionally early. as far as treatments go you can read of people combining various treatments and that is the thing you need to do. the most common combo is finasteride, minoxidil and nizoral but you do not want to use medicals and i assume finasteride is therefore out of question. there are also other hair regrowth treatments that you may find interesting to read about and try with many of them built around naturally derived substances. in my opinion it very much depends on your nose how fine it is as many herbal topicals are smelly. one combination that has worked for me to some extent is topical minoxidil in the morning (i am using rogaine foam as it dries quickly but you can smell it for about 15 minutes or so) and spectral-dnc-l at night - it also dries quickly but smells even worse. its strong smell goes away after half an hour or so but the first impression was bad. if this combo does not help you hardly anything will. if you do not even want to include minoxidil in your therapy then your options are limited mainly to herbal topicals such as revivogen but these are too sticky and smelly. i do not believe that supplement vitamin pills, and there are many of them out there and some have already been recommended to you here, can help you regrow lost hair. no pain no gain.
