lol, refreshed! Yes, it's been a long time coming, hasn't it? feels a bit anticlimatic at the moment, to be honest, since I think I've trained myself fairly well to be able to distinguish the 'good' from the 'bad' by touch, smell, etc. etc.
but this will provide the 'science' to back up the 'inner tuition'. i'm thinking it might get lent out a lot... have even been musing on doinf some community 'outreach'.
By the way, I am now looking for some more kelp and came across this company: "clef des champs", which sells the laminiaria digitata in "flakes". Looking that up, to try to get a better sense of it i came across this link , which has a few interesting recipe ideas.

Might be fun to try one or two. Crackers, anyone? I made some the other day with spelt flour, sweet potato, cilantro and some thai curry spices. mmm. well, they were more like flatbreads. AND very good with sunflower seed and pinenut "cheese", and 'pickle' of grated radish and ACV. really good on a hot day.
