My goal is to go thirty days or until completion. Whatever happens first. Ive already achieved some great benefits to my health through
Iodine supplementation and I feel a long
Water Fast will further improve my body's condition. Ive been reading up pretty good on this for quite a while now so I more or less know what to expect as far as detox symptoms and healing crisis's are concerned. If they are anything like horrible feelings and symptoms I had when I first started
Iodine supplementation I can deal with them. My main concern is my friends. They will likely make it very difficult because they think this whole idea of mine is very unhealthy and will probably try tempt me with food all the time. Other than that, I'm a twenty year old guy so I don't have any serious medical condition to cure and by most doctors assessments I'm completely healthy but I've got a small list of things I'm hoping to remedy or improve with this fast. The main things being the healing of my right knee which always gives me trouble when I run, the reduction or elimination of
Acne scarring on my face and back, losing the weight I gained while eating college junk food for two years and finally I'd love to see my eyesight improve as a result of the fast though I won't be disappointed if it doesn't.
My only real concern is how to break the fast. I'm not really sure what the best way to go about breaking it is. I'm thinking about buying some apples, oranges, and peaches to eat but not sure if I should eat them in there whole form or if its better to start by drinking juices. Also, how fast does the digestive system fire back up after its been off for so long. Would a whole peach be too much as a first meal at the end. I'm just not sure how to portion things while breaking the fast?
