Hi Hv,
I saw in another thread you mention for HCL production we need both the right nutrients, AND the right stimulation. What pice of the jigsaw does the stimulation? Is that the TMG?
The bitters stimulate the release. The TMG is a methyl group donor so it helps with production, not release. Methylation is required for about 4,000 reactions in the body, including stomach acid formation.
Also, are saunas good for sweating out toxins, or are they dangerous as we sweat out critical vitamins and minerals too?
Saunas are fine as long as you and your heart are strong enough for them. You will lose water of course and some electrolytes, so be sure to drink some spring water frequently to maintain hydration and electrolytes.
Cheers
Sunlight exposure is very important for things such as preventing seasonal effective disorder (SAD), vitamin D synthesis and immune stimulation. It does not do the same things as a sauna though unless you live is a really warm and sunny climate. You can sunbathe in the middle of Alaska on a sunny day when it is 32F (0C) and you will not be sweating out toxins. You won't look very tan either, you will look more like a Smurf!
