I am a fan of "sound" healing and have
used this technology for a couple of
decades now. Especially when raising a
family I used one, ABR (Acoustic Brain
Research)24 minute nap, on an almost
daily basis. I used others they offer.
I have 6 CDs which are Dr. Jeffrey Thompson's
work which I also like to use either for sleep
or relaxation. I find using the tapes
and CDs infinitely more appealing for
stress relief than using pharmaceuticals.
It was controversial with friends and
family, at first, but I also found using
them with my daughter growing up was a
positive experience. I would put a relaxation
CD on and especially if she was over-tired
and wound up, she would be able to become
calm and rest or sleep well.
I have, and have used, the Delta Sleep System,
as well as the Alpha Relaxation System and
the Creative Mind System. So far, my thoughts
have remained my own and I have had no problem
with fantasies of jumping off a bridge save
for the occasional urge to bungey jump...ggg.
