I did five cycles of clomid. I got pregnant in the 4th cycle, but didn't know it because the pink line on the pregnancy test was so faint and then I started bleeding. I did the fifth cycle of Clomid and found I was pregnant when I went to the hospital with pain in my ovaries. They were hypertimulated because I tool Clomid while already pregnant. Anyway, when I went back a week later for a check I found I had had a missed miscarriage. I think that is why the pregnancy test was so faint and I bled. The pregnancy just wasn't "taking". Anyway, they told me that six months was sort of a reevaluation point and that your cancer risk goes up after six cycles. I have not gone back for more Clomid and am not sure I will at this point. I have done bowel cleanse, parasite cleanse and Liver Flush as well as taking vitex and saw palmetto. My past two cycles appeared to be normal complete with ovulation as I did get "ferning" and my cycles were a normal length for a change. I'm going to give this a few cycles and see what happens. I may chart my temps next month just to confirm that I really am ovulating.
