Twice now I have done a lemon enema and have had bladder irritability with this type. The first time the irritability got so severe it was very limiting in my functioning. I thought it was a bladder infection (it ended up being one) but after about a week the irritation finally went away. I did take Antibiotics and the Pyridium and after a week the bladder spasm subsided. Now today after another lemon enema my bladder is starting the feeling of spasm and need to urinate. Is this caused by the infection or could it be the body ridding itself of toxins and this is the bladders response to their presence. I am drinking a lot of water. Or could I be giving myself the bladder infections by improper technique of the enema. Any help would be appreciated.
