I would like to get vitamin B12 shots because I hear that if gives alot of energy. Yet I don't know how to ask my doctor as it is a pretty invasive procedure. I am tired. Do you think if I explain my lethargy that it may be a good reason for her to allow me to get the IV drip?
Sublingual b12 is an effective way of delivering b12 and worked great for me. You can try the methylcobalamin rather than the cobalamin. Take with some folic acid.
You simply ask your doctor to give you B12 injections and ask for a prescription for folic acid. If he is not willing ask a different doctor. Most doctors should now be familiar with the importance of vitamin B12 and folic acid, and its relation to "mental illness" and other illnesses such cardiovascular diseases. If he is not, he he/she is not fit to be your doctor.
