I cannot find the source for it right now. But I read that the Himalayan Salt thing is just your generic scam to fool gullible New Agers into paying big bucks for salt that really comes from some polluted lowland area in Pakistan, containing loads of flouride.

This is what I've heard(read). I do not know if it is accurate or not. Take it how you wish.


I don't think you can take any salt and expect it to do the same as Iodoral.

Redmond's Real Salt is better, IMO,

LOL, americans like their "fads". Remember when tongue piercing was big ? "Here, eat this "himalayan salt", it's good for you." Ever see the Alfred Hitchcock episode where the lesson was to be wary of unsolicited help offered by strangers allegedly concerned about your life ?

That's why I hope nobody ever really heeds anything I write, nor do I care about anyone, with a few exceptions, but always limited to exclude strangers.

And then theres the author in the link below who writes:

Who ya gonna believe ? How about putting together a fluoride titration kit and finding out the real truth ?

I bet all lots of himalayan salt are not the same, like people, some being more toxic than others.
