it burns just as bad as an acid, only slower and then when you know your burned, it is too late...in the factory, we feared an alkaline burn more than an acid burn....because with an acid, you wash or neutralize it fast as possible...while the alkaline burn doesn't feel that bad at first, so you continue...as example:
i helped hand pour a swimming pool many years ago. cement was mixed with this powder and then you hand trowled this cement mixture into an oval swimming pool and then put a plastic liner in it to hold the water....
i ended up doing much of the cement work and didn't use rubber gloves....my hands never hur while working...after the job, they turned red and the skin peeled off for the next few days and they were burned badly....that is a mild alkaline burn...
baking soda will burn and anyone putting into the blood or colon is very foolish and it does not kill cancer, it only burns it.
