starving_artist84,
the website you refer to is far too generalized.
A lot depends on each individuals powers of digestion and assimilation which can vary enormously from person to person.
Generally speaking the information is gobbledegook.
Where do these people get their information from?
Our bodys are composed of approx' 70% water, and where this is matched by eating a diet that has this same approx' ratio................fruit and vegetables.
Fruits spend the least amount of time in digestion as they are in fact pre-digested by Nature.
As a rule of thumb, the higher the water content of the food to be eaten the easier it is to digest and the less time spent in doing so.
However, the more concentrated the food, the longer and more difficult it is to digest.
Try this experiment.................
#1. When really hungry, eat a meal of just grapes and apples; eat until satisfied or full.
Then let me know WHEN and HOW SOON thereafter you feel hungry again.
#2. Eat a meal exclusively of meat and eat as above and let me know the difference.
