but has anyone tried a modified master cleanse, a la Moreless?
I have done two master cleanses in the past, and both times while I really liked the process, (and the drink) i felt that the cayenne was pretty rough. It burned in general, and I wondered about whether a moreless drink migh actually be a better "master cleanse".
I'm not suggesting this would be good for those who are ill, and working their way back to an alaline state, but for someone who's come a long way back to alkaline, i wonder.
last summer I did a 29 day water only fast, and it improved a lot of things for me--as well as changed my mindset about
what it is that really 'feeds' us. (beyond food) I was thinking of doing another, but then got the idea the drink might be a good short 'fast' in prep for a water fast.
By the way, I know a water fast is a pretty radical idea for a lot of people. I read and studied a lot on the subject before I could ever even get my head around it. It may sound completely far out, but I don't think I fasted quite long enough: aka "fasting to completion", or the return of hunger. Yes, hunger actually goes away and I felt really good for at almost three weeks.
just wondering who's thought of doing (or has done) the modified MC. I seem to recall that Moreless doesn't think much of the MC. I'm not sure I think the maple syrup or the lemons available to us for the most part are up to the quality that muct has existed back in Stanley Burroug's day. (the 'founder' of the original cleanse).
I've only done the MC with BSM, and it was very enjoyable--except for the burning of the cayenne on exit. I interpreted that as causing the body to expell quite a lot of acid waste.
any thoughts?
