I think the age of the children is key. Small children shouldn't be included in this apparent education in the relationship of how one lives, and the relationship to the planets health, and how it will affect them in time. At least from the stand point of the test you posted. The education has to be age appropriate.
On the other hand, high school age children should be educated in this area. They are of an age where they are making decisions about what car to buy if any, etc. .
I live about 2 blocks from a high school about half way to the store where they buy chips, twinkies, and soda pop. They don't think one thing about throwing their trash on the street, but what is worse is that about 80% of them are Obese. In my mind, they should all have a class about nutrition, and the relationship to their own health in the coming years.
If you wait until they are adults, it will be to late as their habits will already be ingrained.
