I found a huge links resource site on both pro and anti milk, although the site seems to be anti-milk. It's called NotMilk.com
If anyone is interested in finding out the pros and cons, this must surely be a good starting place, so I thought I'd share. My current view is non-milk is better, I am influenced by various findings such as The China Study, and this cartoon makes me smile:

Enjoy
Hi Steve,
I saw a program on the Food Network channel about milk. This was filmed in a small town in Maryland I believe, anyway they outlawed raw milk in Maryland as they have in many states here. There is a large group of families who have been using raw milk for years, they’ve raised their children on it so now they have a very large smuggling operation going on. They pack coolers with ice and drive to Pennsylvania to a dairy farm and buy hundreds of gallons of raw milk and drive back to Maryland. Once they get home they set up an undercover store in the garage of someone’s house and everyone comes and buys the milk. They make these smuggling trips once a week. They believe when the milk is pasteurized it kills off the good ingredients, so they will not drink pasteurized milk.
The first thing that crossed my mind when I saw this program was why in the world would this lady go on television and proclaim they are breaking the law. How stupid was that? The camera crew filmed her crossing the state line going to the farm and picking the milk up and also showed all the people coming to buy the milk once the counterfeit store was stocked. If I was going to do something against the law I certainly wouldn’t broadcast it on television LOL.
I have never liked milk of any kind ever. My mother told me even as a toddler I wouldn’t drink milk and I still don’t like it. When I had my son I breast fed him for the first several months of his life, from there I gave him baby formula and then like any person too stupid to know better I started giving him milk which he loved. Way back then milk, much like today was touted as the end all be all for getting the calcium we needed. The problem was that he started breaking out, it was so bad I started by eliminating one food at a time but I could never figure out what was making him break out. He also got all congested with a runny nose, red itchy eyes and the works. After a couple of weeks I took in to a doctor that specialized in allergies. He gave him all the tests and it turned out that he was allergic to milk! This greatly distressed my son because he really loved milk but as soon as I stopped giving him milk his allergies cleared up. I still hadn’t won the battle though because when he would go somewhere without me he would drink the milk that he so loved thinking I would never know but alas us moms are always smarter than our kids ha ha. Him sneaking milk continued for about 2 months until I could finally convince him that every time he drank milk he was going to get sick, when it finally sunk in he stopped drinking milk when he was at the babysitters house. Today my son still does not drink milk although I’m sure he’s outgrown his allergy but I don’t tell him any different LOL.
Moral of the story is if you’re a baby calf, drink your moms milk. If you are a human child drink your moms milk for how ever long she deems necessary and do not drink cows milk.

Hey Steve,
I think you meant pun intended yes? LOL Ha ha!
I completely agree milk isn't a natural substance we should be drinking and you are absolutely right about us being conditioned from the time we're born. I wish I knew then what I know now but they say hindsight is 20/20 so I'm grateful for what I've learned over the years.
Now fasting to reset our brains would be rather tricky ha ha.

The farmer doesn't waste much time legging it. Remember bulls are naturally vegan too!
LOL, talk about fresh beef! How funny but good that no one got hurt. It looked like a very young bull or else you grow them much smaller over there than we do here LOL.

Ironically, I just found NotMilk.com a few days ago. Another similar site, is GotPus.com. There is some pretty shocking information on both of those sites. I've always said that if we were meant to drink cow milk, we'd come out of the womb mooing!
This article about the dangers of cow milk mentioned these two sites, and summed up some of the health concerns surrounding milk. Worth a read. Ironically, it also looks like some Dairy Farmers have found it, and are hitting them up with their comments. LOL!
