You can use red grapefruit with Hulda Clark s recipe (detailed in the recipes link at the top of the page). Grapefruit is listed as a favorable food for people with fructose malabsorption due to its glucose levels being higher than its fructose levels. That said, if you have problems with lemon, you may have problems with grapefruit.

I used to do the liver flush, followed by heavy duty enema, without the apple juice. I had less than 1/10 the results w/out the apple juice. This sounds like a question for an open minded doctor or very experienced homopath, though, one who could alert you if you are likely to have any serious consequences of maybe doing this just once a month or so.
