Hi #91954,
Your question: Moreless,
Can you suggest us something to clean our hairs and body. Clarke suggested use of Borax with citric acid. Do you think it's a good idea ? I put a lot of oil in my hair so anything that can get that oil out of hair safely is what i need. What about Sodium Bicarbonate ? I am from India and I don't have access to ACV.
Thanks in Advance
Answer: Hi Ya'll,
Many people may be having problems because of some of the Toxic Cleaners which may be on the market!
So it may interest some of you what you may use which is "VERY" Safe to use to do your Cleaning to Washing Clothes!
All Oils and Fats and Carbohydrates may be easily cleaned with Baking soda!
That is correct!
Cheap ole Baking soda may disolve and clean any dirt which has Oils from your skin or Oils and fat from your cooking pans, and it does not take very much to do the job!
So, Baking soda may be used to clean your dirty dishes or your dirty clothes!
Now "IF" you get an Alkaline stain on the dishes or on your clothes, then you may use White Distilled Vinegar to clean this kind of a Dirt!
Now for dishes you may want to use Hydrogen Peroxide in place of the Baking soda, for either may work to clean Oil or Fat!
But it may be better to stick with the Baking Soda in cleaning clothes, because the Hydrogen Peroxide may Bleach out your color clothes , if it is not used properly!

Hi sans sucre,
All you have to do is put enough Baking soda in to make the water soft and it may clean the clothes!
You may be able to do it with only several Tablespoons full of Baking soda, depending on your water supply!
You can feel the water as you put it in and after some trial and error you will be able to tell how much it may take, for the water will feel much softer!
Of course for dirter clothes, you may need to use more than several Tablespoons full!
Just remember if you have any Alkaline Mineral stains, these you need to put some White Distilled Vinegar on to take out Alkaline stains!
And for smell, you may add what ever flavor of scent you want it to smell like!
Smile Tis your choice.
Additional: If you cannot get ACV, you may use other types of vinegar or may even use citric acid with the Baking Soda?
Edit: May I add that when the old time Lye soap was made, it contained Fatty Acids from the Lard or Tallow Fats and Alkaline Minerals from the Hydroxides of the Wood Ashes or Potassium Hydroxide as a general rule?
This made a solid bar of soap and when it came in contact with water(H2O) the Hydrogen in the water may start another reaction to add to the cleaning action?
Thus one may find that if one mixes one of the weak acids suggested with the Baking Soda(Sodium Bicarbonate ), that this may provide a Greater cleaning power than each by themself as it comes in contact with water? For with an Acid reacting against an Alkaline, this may provide a Greater Energy release, which may cause more reaction to occur?
As usual not everything may be as it may 1st seem to be?
