Hey everyone!
I came across curezone a few days ago while doing some research and have read so many posts.. I have learned so much from all of you! I'm hoping that I can get some good advice on here. I don't want to write a novel, because I could!, so I'll make this as short as possible...
I've been having problems with my health for 9 years now. It all started with Ehrlichea,
Antibiotics , and birth control. I've had almost every candida symptom you can imagine. I didn't even know about candida problems until just recently. About a year ago I spent 3+ months travelling in central america and when I came home I felt terrible! I developed a strange kind of
Acne on my whole face which has continued to be a problem and found that I had a raging vaginal yeast infection. After seeing a few doctors and taking 3 courses of yeast infection meds I realized that something else must be happening.... you've probably heard all of this before..
I started researching candida problems last week and, for the first time in 9 years, everything came together. It makes so much sense. So here's the problem: I have been suffering with
food allergies for about 5 years now and they have gotten so bad the last few months that virtually everything causes some kind of reaction or another! It's been terrible. I decided to do a
Water Fast on Monday which went very well but I started menstruating that morning so I thought I'd wait and I wanted to learn more about fasting first.
I am ready to do a long fast. I feel that it will help me so much and hopefully kill off all of that candida! But I've had problems with food for so long that it's impossible to keep weight on and I'm a small person to begin with. I'm 5'4" and probably only weigh about 115lbs right now. I'm worried that my body won't be able to handle the water fast. From what I've been reading people lose a lot of weight very fast while fasting. Will this be a problem for me? I don't want to become emaciated! But I need to figure this out! I want to go back to school but I've been putting it off for so long because I'm so unhealthy. It's hard enough for me to concentrate at work and home, I can't imagine studying for a test!
Please help! Any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated! I'm ready to be healthy but I don't want to damage my body any more.
Thanks!
Rachel
Oh, and I have been on a no-sugar, allergen free diet for 5 days now. I also started oil pulling 3 days ago, once a day and I've introduced coconut oil into my diet. I'm taking HMF intensive probiotics and Sam-e (for depression). I drink kombucha every day and I've started eating kim chi more often. I've removed meat, gluten, dairy, eggs, shellfish, garlic, etc. from my diet. garlic, eggs, and pineapple are my worst allergies (according to a blood test).
