Hi Fellow Fasters,
I am in desperate need of advice right now. So, I have a lot of weight to lose (about 90 lbs total). I decided to fast for 30 days to kick start my weight loss and then I plan on eating healthfully as well as excercising.
So on day 1 I started at 233
lbs. and by day 9 I was down to 218
lbs. However, I am now ending day 14 and I have only lost 1 lb. in the last 5 days (I'm at 217)!
I'm not sure if my body is telling me that it's time to stop fasting, or if my metabolism has really slowed down that much...I hardly feel it is worth continuing if my weight loss is going to be SO slow, but I really was hoping to drop a bit more weight before I start to refeed...
Please help! If anyone has experienced this, or has any advice for me, I'd really appreciate it! I can't express how discouraged I feel at this point.
