BD, I'd suggest that you look at foods from a new side. Rather than trying to find a "healthy" way around things, you write off the bad SAD foods and start looking at WHOLEfood ways to get the taste you want.
Jam? cooked to death fruit with sugar.
Try throwing those strawberries in the blender. Blend them until smooth. Spread on sprout bread. Does it need help with sweetness? You can add honey, maple syrup, sorghum molasses, or raw agave to the blender next time.
Instead of butter on your toast, try unrefined virgin coconut oil or spread with mashed avocado.
