It seems that many strains are becoming resistant to drug treatments.
The latest trend is to treat with anti fungal drugs like amphotericin B, depending on the type of infection; visceral or cutaneous.
My understanding is that 'miltefosine' has a high success rate {95%}. Another typical drug is called "pentamidine isethionate".

The drug of choice however, is "itraconazole" or sporanox. This seems be have the best results from what I can see. Shroom

Hi Bella--no problem. I think once you are treated for the leishmaniasis, your "candida" problems might resolve. Sporonox should not be too hard to obtain. Shroom
