A few days into Iodine supplementation and the heart palpitations stopped. Six weeks into Iodine supplementation and I had more energy than I had in high school, the lumps in my breasts were gone, my skin was soft and moist, I had a crystal clear lucid dream that everything was going to be OK, and I started waking up in the morning eager to get out of bed instead of dreading to get up.
I slowly increased the dosage for the next year due to lingering mucous afflictions and symptoms. Iodine seemed to cause some joint pain temporarily. A year and a half into supplementation all the joint pains had cleared except a pain in my right hip. I bumped up to 40 drops twice a day in orange juice. I had been taking it in water previously, but the taste of that amount in water was not to my liking. When I started mixing it with juice, I started peeing brown, barnacles grew around my eyes, and horrible itching bumps showed up on my face. I also went stark raving insanely berserk on a poor fellow who was crazy about me, but he couldn't decide whether or not he wanted to be in a relationship. I made up his mind for him and blamed it on bromine psychosis. Maybe it really was.
I am now taking SSKI. Only ten drops in water twice a day causes pimples on my face, brown pee, back pain, mega brain fog, headaches, and mental agitation. I knew a lot of people were putting their Iodine in orange juice, but I had otherwise been told to avoid fructose, and didn't fully comprehend how important it was to mix the Iodine with juice as it converts the Iodine into Iodide, and you need both. I am sure that I would have progressed much more quickly if I had realized this. I have just realized/learned/discovered/grokked that the thyroid gland needs the sski and other cells in the body need iodine. For whatever reason, that distinction was too subtle for me to really "get it" until now.
It was because of the candida that I didn't want to put Iodine in juice. Prior to taking Iodine, juice gave me indigestion and caused my tongue to turn white. I am sharing this because people with yeast infections might like to know that you don't have to avoid orange juice when you are taking Iodine, and you shouldn't. The iodine will take care of the yeast problem, and it will likely clear up even more quickly if you mix your Iodine with juice, because then you will be getting the Iodide that you need too.
And now I am going to make a schizoid connection, as the observation above makes me wonder if that is why "they say" you are supposed to avoid dairy and drink kefir. How are you supposed to do that?! Unless maybe the kefir making process changes the "il" in milk into something that makes you well... Ha ha. Thanks for reading.
ps i guess everybody has to figure all this out for themselves as my body seems to do very well on organic range fed homogenized dairy and it especially loves black berry kefir, someone said it is my germanic ancestry that likes the dairy, hansel and gretel must have liked milk and cookies
