i fasted for 36 hrs saturday night to monday morning, and i felt so terrible. i had read some things about the benefits of fasting one day a week so i thought i'd give it a try, and i have done short period fasts before, but this was really weird. i really felt like i was dying! and before i had experienced no symptoms after only a day long fast, but for the entire day on monday i felt lethargic and HORRIBLY dizzy when i got up.
should i not do this again? i really wanted to make a habit out of this weekly 36 hour fasting thing but maybe i was incorrect on thinking it was good for you? if someone could offer some insight on this matter it would be helpful, i don't want to harm myself because i read bad information. i feel all paranoid.
but it's not like i could have actually done any damage, right? after only one day? i'm sort of afraid i threw my body out of whack, that's what it feels like.
