Thanks for the detailed list.
Since you have all the products - go ahead a use them. You may want to add abit of the psyllium powder and
Bentonite to all this as well if it's not too much for you to handle as well.
The jarrow dophilus is full of different strains of friendly bacteria for the gut - no problem with taking it every morning.
The Vermex formula contains herbs for the digestive system, eg: gentian is good for digestion, stimulating the liver and gall bladder) slippery elm is muciligenous and soothing to the colon, cascara is a mover or herbal laxitive and
Black-Walnut , garlic and
Wormwood are good for
parasites so it doesn't sound like a bad formula.
Some on this forum do not like cascara in products as it is a herbal laxative and can be addicting. My opinion is it's okay when you are doing some sort of a cleanse - but that is only my opinion. I used to work for an iridoligist and herbalist and when she put them on psyllium 90% of people would get VERY VERY constipated. Although she would tell them to drink lots and lots of water etc. So it is better to move the toxic waste from your body with a herbal laxative then have it sit in the colon taxing the liver, kidneys, lymph system and lungs and skin with toxins. Most people were scared of
colonics and doing an enema themselves was unthinkable so she would give them the cascara. You may want to try an enema (you are in total control of everything and they are not as scary as people think, and then when you get backed up try that method instead of the cascara. If the capsules you have give you diareah (sp) then back off on the amount of capsules you take each day - if they don't then that's good.
My understanding that cascara is a milder laxative rather than the senna, turkey rhubarb ones that are more harsh. We always had good results with with the cascara.
I'm not familiar with the Green Vibrance but if you are not eating alot of vegetables (which I would suggest you increase a little a day) then there is nothing wrong with that as it is alkaline and nourishing to the body.
Cayene Pepper is good for the circulation and garlic is also good for a host of things as well as parasites.
The women at the health food store is correct. Do not combine the probiotics with the detox formula - they both have their seperate purpose. Some probiotics say to take on a empty stomach and some say to take with food so if you can take your brand with food then taking it with the super food is okay. (It should state that on your bottle)
If it says to take on an empty stomach, the herbalist I worked for would have people take the capsule on an empty stomach upon rising with water and then go lie back down for 10 minutes. This relaxes the pyloric valve (the valve from the stomach to the small intestine) so the probiotic can get to the gut faster.
As for the diet, try and stay away from sugar, wheat and dairy.
Sugar really feeds yeast and
parasites big time and lowers the immune system and is devoid of nutrients.
Wheat and dairy can be mucous forming and alot of people are allergic to them and may not know it.
Eat as many live foods as you can, vegetables, legumes, fish etc. Try not to eat too much red meat while you are on this as well and stay away from crackers, pizza and fast fried foods.
The big big thing is to keep the colon moving so toxins do not back up in the system and drinks lots and lots of water to flush out toxins.
I suggest you start with the probiotic and detox formula slowly and work up to the recommded dose as you may experience candida and
parasite die off and then can result in fatigue and headaches, muscle pains and insomnia to name a few. This is not to scare you, but starting slowly is commonsense when you have been on alot of
Antibiotics etc. (I know this from personal experience)and you may have alot of these critters in your gut.
Any other opinions are most welcome and I hope this helps you out.
