Hi Cranky,
I could use that nickname myself a good portion of the month, LOL. I have found that I only have about 1 really good week of the month, I believe I have PMDD (pre-men. dysphoric disorder). It is awful, I don't feel in control of myself at times.
I'm newer to the colon cleanse, but I will say this the best place to start especially if you are having PMS problems is cleaning up your diet. No white flours, sugar, refined, processed foods, stay away from MSG, Nutrasweet, and Hydrogenated oils. Eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, try to find meats, eggs and dairy products that are
Antibiotic and hormone/steroid free if at all possible. I am having a hard time with this because I live in a smaller community that doesn't carry a lot of organic products and the extra expense is not always in the budget :o(.
To start out the
Colon Cleanse just mix 1 tbsp. psyllium and 1 tbsp.
Bentonite in 8 ozs. of water, follow with another glass of water. Every fourth week add some liquid/gel cap Caprylic Acid (if using the gel cap, break it open and squeeze it into the shake) to help kill yeast overgrowth. I know I have systemic yeast and when I do the Caprylic Acid I feel a difference. Add acidophilus to your regime, eat plain yogurt or use acidophilus supplements from your local health food store (I don't trust drug store/Wal-Mart supplements to be very good quality)you don't have to buy the $40-50 stuff to have results, I use UAS LABS DDS Plus Acidophilus and have excellent results with it and it is under $20 a bottle which lasts me about a month and a half. Rid yourself of yeast overgrowth and I believe you will get a lot of relief from PMS. When I get myself disiplined enough to clean my diet up, I know I will see good results.
You are on the right track, a clean colon with healthy flora put back in, is not going to allow yeast to overtake it or your body.
Happy colon cleansing!!!
