Hi Ya'll,
The best way to rebuild the soil is by letting the wild plants do it for us!
How may this be?
Each wild plant pulls in different minerals from different levels in the soil
and will supply these to the top soil if we will work these in before they go
to seed as a green manure crop during the growing season!
This is by far the best way to rebuild any worn out soil!!
All we need to do is to take one half of our garden and use it for our garden
each year and the other one half let weeds grow up and several times during the
spring and summer, when we have enough growth and moisture, work these into the
soil with a rototiller or mow it and immediately work in by some means into the
topsoil, and let the next crop of weeds to grow.
Into this one half of the garden which we want to improve each year, we may
add some extra lime or other materials we want to and let the weeds convert
this into real live soil neutrients , then! This is where we may apply some
fresh animal manures if we want, and the weeds will sheet compost this into the
soil and make it ready for next years crops!
Because it is not good to use fresh animal manures on our garden in the same
year as we want to grow our food crops, as this will cause the crops to take
in too much Potassium Nitrate ,,and this is not good to eat, for it will stop
the Oxygen from our blood!
