Seems like winter refuses to let up. We have been rushing to make the barn usuable for about a month now and I swear the weather has been crazy as well for about a month. Snow/ice/wind all day, all night. You would swear we are having Febuary Winter in late November/December.

The local ski resort is doing NOTHING, their lights have been off. They don't expect to ski this time of year and my guess is they have no employees and tonight, yu could ski on the natural snow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that is if you can stand up on the ice!!!!!

Naturally it could be 50-60 degrees anyday and probably the day we don't have to work to get this seminar ready, is the day the sun shines and the mud dry up. Until then it has been like fighting winter every day. Tonight we had to take our nightly restocking of building supplies trip and the roads were solid ice, everyone sliding all over the place. 4 wheel drive was great, until you wanted to stop. It is suppose to snow all night and the temp dropping once again to the teens.

It looks like about 12 people will be attending the Amish Healer seminar and about 21 for the Dr. Mom seminar. We could probably seat 30 people, but what ones come, are the ones that were chosen. The wildest thing is, the majority of the people coming live in another state and some on the other side of the country and out of country. The locals? Not in this area, they all live to have medical insurance and obtain the latest drugs to aid with thier aches and pains. They basically about fall dead if you suggest they pay a dime out of their own pocket to listen to an author.
