Dr. Lam
Generally speaking, only natural progesterone is needed after hyysterectomy. If your doc put you on estrogen, there must be a reason. now on top, if you are going to take testosterone, there has got to be more reasons. yes the amount of info out there is overwhelming, and I fully understand your frustration and confusion. YOur doc should have a very good answer for you. I dont like to put people on any HRT unless I have no choice, and many come to me to get themselves off . I do use HRT but only as last resort. Without knowing more in specifics, my response can only be general. If you want more specific response, best it to ask the same question on my site, or pm me, but i dont think the pm is working. DHEA will increase estrogen as well as testosterone. If you are already on estrogen, why would you want more ? So I am a bit confused. It it is for vaginal dryness, estriol cream is good. If it is for increase sexual activity, then direct testosterone can be applied. There are many options, and natural ones. you have options. Your problem does not appear to be complicated at all.
