Meds make things worse. At best, they only become an addiction.
I was suicidally depressed for 51 years because of a severely dysfunctional family. I got over it three yrs. ago because I outlived everyone in my family. Whatever reason or cause for you to feel "depressed" (intense and constant stress, subconscious identity crisis, long term illness, etc.), you can usually feel alot better by maintaining or gaining good health from nutrition and regular sleep habits (by itself, regular/quality sleep does alot). Tomato juice and other vegetable juices (especially fresh with live enzymes) will strengthen your blood and is VERY healthy,...PLUS, your body doesn't have to use immense amounts of energy for digestion, only metabolism. If you could avoid solid food (or eat more easily digested food,...cottage cheese, etc.), your body would feel alot better because it would have more energy, lose bulk, and there would be less bone strain when walking.
Garlic is good because it cleans the blood, but also it kills the bad bacteria in the intestine (ONLY the BAD bacteria, not the good bacteria). Just that alone should make you feel alot better.
Have you figured out WHY you feel depressed? (physical "unease" or intense stress, heartbreak, unknown from the past)?
Take a look at the Sea Salt
Regular table salt
is very harsh on the body because it has been refined SEVERELY.
Also try honey (any honey), it's good for energy but also has natural anti-biotic properties (unlike synthetic Antibiotics
that kill both the GOOD and bad bacteria in the intestine causing digestion and immune problems). Drink normal amounts of water (too much needlessly flushes out minerals). Runners must be careful because too much water in summer causes mineral imbalance in the brain and can die. Don't drink diet soda. Aspertame is a poison to the body (just like Mono-Sodium-Glutamat (Natrium Glutamat)
) and aspertame itself could be causing your Depression
(if you do drink diet soda or eat foods that have aspertame, stop. After one week (or a couple of days, you will not be depressed anymore. People have been in wheelchairs because of aspertame, and in two weeks of stopping their use, they were walking.
