Certainly nothing wrong with questioning anything, and everything.
If you're not comfortable with the idea of water fasting, maybe you shouldn't.
It probably isn't for everybody anymore than anything else is.
For myself, after 40 years of water fasting with great results, I don't buy into the fears that you bring up.
Those patients of Shelton's that died while fasting may have succumbed to something other than the fasting.
This is a support forum for water fasting, so we probably won't be hearing from you again.
InCharge, that "support" includes addressing concerns brought up by posters.
I use to think the same thing until my post was deleted from the distilled water support forum because it wasn't in support of drinking distilled water only.
I was told that I should have posted on the debate forum for water.
There is also a debate forum for fasting.
If the rest want to include debate about the efficacy, and safety of water fasting, it's okay with me. I would like to know that a rule for one forum is the same as all. It makes it much easier to keep up with it.
No I haven't changed about drinking distilled water while fasting.
I think I mentioned that distilled water is like a magnet, and attracts everything (toxins included) to it. Which makes it good for water fasting.
You can test distilled water when you first open it up (bottled), and it will test between .05 to 1 ppm. If you leave the bottle open these numbers go up. I found this out making Colloidal Silver which the directions on my machine said the water should be less than 1 PPM.
The information I posted on the distilled water forum was by a doctor that claimed that drinking it every day would deplete the minerals from the body. Also that it is slightly acidic, and that it is better to drink an alkalizing water.
Anyway it wasn't in support of drinking distilled water daily, so it was deleted by the moderator, and I was told to go to the water debate forum.
Either way it doesn't matter to me, just would be nice to be uniform from one forum to the next.
Well I could be wrong about drinking distilled water even for fasting according to this article by Dr. Mercola.
http://tinyurl.com/5ruqc he gives a thumbs up for Reverse Osmosis, but still recommends supplimentation.
I noticed the other day at the health food store that "Penta" water is RO water.
I use a "Akai" activated Ionization water filter for my daily drinking water. Going to have to research some more about fasting with distilled water. Paul Bragg recommended it, as well as others.
