If you don't see it, if you don't smell it, you don't crave for it.
In reality, fruits and carrot juice can satisfy our need for sweet. We don't need products with refined sugar, or with honey or with other concentrated sweeteners.
You can bake great cakes Sugar
free ... with fresh or dried fruits, raisins, dates, apples, appricots, ... eventually you can use Stevia ... but fruit is far better!
Macrobiotic Cookbooks have great recipes for sugar-free deserts, but freshly pressed fruit juice is the best desert you can get!

Now, sugar, for most people, is not as addictive as tobacco, so even if you taste it sometimes, it is easier to break out from addiction.
