after 3 years i am still not back to normal but i am close enough. i had horrible cramps and twitching in the uterus but i just got an ultrasound done and they say nothing is wrong even though i have to pee evry hours. i think the mirena causes all kinds of chemical imbalances in the body head to toe, it affects temperature emotions and everything else.
its a struggle to get in control of yourself again.

I feel your pain. I had the Mirena for two years and the last year was horrible, I was also a raving bitch! I had to have surgery to get mine out two weeks ago and I am amazed at how good I feel. It took me about six months to decide to get it out because I did not believe that my symptoms were caused by the Mirena. When I did decide to get it out it ended up being embedded in my uterus and the strings were gone. It has only been two weeks and I have had people say that they can see a difference. I am so mad that I did not get this out before now. Please take my advice and get it out, you will feel so much better. My thought was I will get it out to see how I feel because I can always get it back in. I know that it cost a lot of money, but it is worth it. I have a two year old and a four year old and I feel horrible that they have had to deal with crazy mom for the past year.
I am so glad that I have my life back!!!!
