fledgling
Just read a lot of Louis Armstrong's story.
He loved to eat well, and felt it was okay if a person purged with laxatives afterward.
I suppose he came to that way of thinking because, in those days, people did that, maybe a couple of times per year.
Louie, as he preferred to be called, began with a mineral water from a certain well (name began with P, I think); went to Swiss Kriss; and, I think, went on to Exlax, which is terrible strong, I hear.
Some people think his constant use of laxatives may have shortened his life unnecessarily.
But, I don't think a little, once in a while, would hurt, especially if it was NOT a regular thing. You might want to see if it contains senna, for that is apparently hard on the system. Some say cascara is milder, and that a small amount, on occasion, may be best.
That's the best I've read, John.
Hope it helps.
