Hi Fellow Fasters,
I am currently on day 6 of a 15 day fast and am doing really well thus far. I am extremely overweight so I have lost a total of 15
lbs. so far. I am worried about gaining weight back after my fast. I understand that I will naturally gain 5-7
lbs. back no matter what I eat, but I don't want to gain more than that.
I am unsure of what to eat. I have traditionally followed a low carb style diet in the past, although could never stick to it for very long. I consider myself a food addict, and am hoping that through this fast, I will break my addiction to bad foods. I've noticed that many people on this forum advocate a raw food, veggie and fruit diet, but I'm not sure that I can stick to something so extreme. Is there anything else I can eat that will keep me from putting the excess weight back on?
