Hi,
I was taking Albendazole for 5 days (by prescriiption) as possible treatment for my unexplained GI symptoms (upper abdominal pain, borborygmus, diarrhea).
I had non-milk diet for several weeks before taking Albendazole (it reduced borborygmus).
I had no side-effects at all, but diarrhea is gone (probably it was going even without drug).
My question is: does absence of side-effects means that I'm free of parasites?
My MD said, that it just means, that I'm not allergic to Albendazole - nothing more.
Anybody taken Albendazole for several days without side-effects?
