Glaxony- By any chance were you deployed out of country when you were in the military? The reason I am asking, is because my daughter who was deployed a year in Afghanistan, was told by a medic Captain when they got back, that because of the pollution that had been in the air, they were supposed to all qualify to get 10-20% disability--and he said they had been breathing depleted uranium.
Problem with Veterans benefits...they wouldn't cover any kind of Alternative testing--but if they know the military have been exposed, every one of them should have a hair analysis done or be tested for it in some way.
The Alt Med Dr has test kits to do at home and send off to labs for other things, I would think he would have one for hair analysis...you've given me an idea- she's going to be here for a few days next week- does the hair have to be sent in immediately? It would be about a week before I would get back to the Dr to get a test kit to send off. She might squawk at mom wanting to cut off a chunk of hair, but I think she needs to be tested.
