I do it when I feel the need. Headaches, brain fog, general malaise, extreme fatigue if I can't take a nap.
There was one time when I had even felt an extreme
need to go see my chiropractor. Pain in my neck that I just knew
an adjustment would help. However, this was in the evening, and I knew he would not
be in his office the next day..."oh, what to do?"
I did the salt push...taking in 1/2 tsp of salt, and 16 ounces
of water, every 30 minutes. IOW, the maximum of salt and water and the minimum amount of time between pushes. I felt so much better after each push. I ended up doing FOUR "pushes" in two hours' time. I was 100% better a half hour after the fourth push.
I did remember reading an article printed by a chiropractor, who said that most of the time, a misalignment in the spine is due to toxic build-up, or overload!
I believe him now. In fact, it's one of the reasons why I am pushing myself hard to stay on track with a simple simple diet of raw fruit and nuts and my LBB's. I love food, I love the wrong
foods, and it's my biggest challenge in life.
Never say die. Keep moving forward. And God Bless you, Dr Shevin for your salt push recipe! One more time for good measure:
