It's very nicely done and a very useful tool when trying to find a remedy, really helps narrow things down. I have about 10 books on herbal preparations, but none categorize them like this!
I would like to make up some nice reference charts containing all ways of categorizing herbs, for example, herbal safety precautions like herbs that are reactive with drugs or herbs that are toxic. Another idea, categorize by gender and age, for example herbs best for children, pregnant women, men and elderly. Lastly a nice chart on common ills and the best herbs for those conditions, like a remedy chart you can quickly turn to in case of emergency, such as a burn, cut or bee sting.
My kids were out playing the other day and a wasp stung one of their friends, so they came rushing in for help. I made a quick paste of baking soda, while I though of something better. I remembered I had some clay, so I mixed that up and replaced the baking soda with the clay mud. The boy was very happy with my remedy and later on I got a call from the mother asking me for the recipe :)
