I tracked this stuff down, however you spell it, it's a variety of what looks like crepe myrtle that grows in the Phillipines. It's pretty expensive, and it's improrted from one of the few places in the world I'm really nervous about buying things from. I've got Crepe Myrtle growing in my yard, if it's the same plant, I'm in business, but I can't find out for sure.
I've also written MH about his kidney cleanse in a non tincture form, I really can't bring myself to use tinctures if there are any alternatives, and that's going along. It was just too hard to get sober all those years ago, and I don't want to repeat that one, thank you, no, no, no. It's like 22 years no drinking, I sobered up in 86, and I want to stay that way.
I tried to order Culpeppers herbal from Amazon.com which is supposed to be a really good herbal, was all excited, and found out I got Culpeppers notebook by accident, which is a pretty little coffee table book with nice little illustrations that I can't see without a maginfying glass, not what I had in mind. And I can't return it because I bought it from one of Amazon's partners because it was cheaper.
So I got back from the health food store with an herbal I'd never heard of for $8.95 and some alfalfa tea. I've used alfalfa before, and it works ok, it's mostly like asparagas, it's a natural diaretic, this at least will help with my symptoms until I can figure out how to do a kidney clease.
I feel like fearless Fosdick, onward through the fog!!!! I'm going to try to go out again tonight and find a watermelon that has seeds and hasn't already fermented. It's 90 degrees, feels like 105, the AC on my car needs to be fixed, and I'm not going anywhere until it cools off. It's so humid, hubbies cigarettes won't stay lit.
But thank you guys, sorry I'm chicken about stuff from the Phillipines, they are having a really nasty civil war, and they don't like us AT ALL. I can just see this guy saying, silly American, you want some tea? I'll fix you some GOOD tea!
