Disclaimer: this appears to be an actual e-copy of the hard copy book first released in 1980, however, I do not vouch nor make any claims this is the case, but merely point out that this appears to be the case. Since it has recently been claimed by Lindsey Williams that he was threatened, and these threats convinced him to stop selling the hard copy book, it is at least within the realm of possibility that this e-copy is either A) a legitimate and faithful copy of the hard copy or B) is a fake made to look like and masquerade as the real copy when it is not.

The Energy Non-Crisis by Lindsey Williams
About the Author

Lindsey Williams, who has been an ordained Baptist minister for 28 years, went to Alaska in 1971 as a missionary. The Transalaska oil pipeline began its construction phase in 1974, and because of Mr. Williams' love for his country and concern for the spiritual welfare of the "pipeliners," he volunteered to serve as Chaplain on the pipeline, with the subsequent full support of the Alyeska Pipeline Company.
Because of the executive status accorded to him as Chaplain, he was given access to the information that is documented in this book.
After numerous public speaking engagements in the western states, certain government officials and concerned individuals urged Mr. Williams to put into print what he saw and heard, stating that they felt this information was vital to national security. Mr. Williams firmly believes that whoever controls energy controls the economy. Thus, The Energy Non-Crisis.
Because of the outstanding public response that has been generated by this book, Lindsey Williams is in great demand for speaking engagements, radio, and TV shows.
(Addition to the fourth printing of the second edition.)
Please keep in mind when you read this eye-opening book that BAPTIST John D. Rockefeller BOUGHT the U.S. government after the Supreme Court decision to outlaw his monopoly in 1911.

Forword
The content of this manuscriipt is only as valuable and useful to the reader as the credibility of the authors.
The honesty, integrity, and therefore the credibility, of the authors of this book is unquestionable to the limit of their combined facts and knowledge.
I can personally attest to many of the facts, and certainly many of the conversations quoted in the book, as I spent a week with Chaplain Lindsey on the North Slope of Alaska during the construction of the Trans-Alaska pipeline. I was privileged to talk with high officials of Alyeska Pipeline Service Company. For reasons unknown to me, I was given access to private information that apparently very few outsiders were ever given. I moved among the men at work and in the baracks. My week on the North Slope was a liberal education.
The motivation for this book is to bring facts to the American people as the authors know them. They do not have a political ax to grind nor any personal advantage by bringing forth these facts. Our President has stated that our energy problem is the equivalent of war. Yet he has embraced policies that have continually discouraged and hampered the development of our oil industry.
Nearly ten years ago President Nixon warned of a pending energy shortage unless our domestic production be drastically increased, but Congress insisted on restrictive price controls.
Congress has been urged—and sometimes threatened—by special interest groups to take a negative stance on energy production, but they have miserably failed to take proper action to increase our domestic production. In fact, as you read this book you must come to the realization that energy production has been fiercely stifled by "Government Bureaucracy, " and Congress has sat on its collective hands.
You, the reader, will be left to make your own conclusions as to why this set of facts and circumstances conflict many times with what we have been told by the news media—which is fed its information by Government Agencies and Departments.
It is with great pride and pleasure that I endorse this manuscriipt and compliment the authors for taking time to do the research and make it available to all of us.

Zoe, thanks for the perfect segue. Here is a little background to how I found the link to an electronic copy of the book. It started with doing a simple web search using Scroogle on the term "Lindsey Williams". Bear in mind I was not looking for the book, I was merely looking for what the web is willing to turn up on the simple search term. Strangely enough, the increasingly-usual suspect - Wikipedia, did not show up top on this list. Reformation dot org, and their page/link to the electronic copy of the book was first on the list of search results. I had not expected to find the book, certainly not on the top of a search list, but this is what happened. There is a message in that. Don't mind me that I don't have any hard proof that plainly spells out the message, but if you have the time, do me the favor and work with me on this; there is a reason, there is a message, whether we know the whys and wherefores of it, or not, there is a reason.
Anyway, I then continued poking around on the search list to see what others had to say.
Some of you may be familiar with the web site - Skepdick . I guess this in part owes to the equality factor out there in this world that number 8 on the list was a web site named - Skepchick. Here is the Skepchick's expert opinion on this matter. It is quite precious. Please pay attention. This is taken as an excerpt from a forum hosted on the Skepchick web site.
Debunk Lindsey Williams (June 13, 2008) : I came across a video on Google I am sure is BS, but I do not have facts contrary to its claims.....

That was hit #8 on the charts as of June 13, 2008. We all know how such charts can move quickly in 45 days, so who knows where this kind of expert opinion is today, July 30, 3008? More to follow... the hits just keep coming, as it were. In the mean time, know that the hits fall into two basic camps.... what a surprise, eh? While the polls remain open on Lindsey Williams, know that the opinions fall neatly onto one of two basic sides..... not unlike foes that continue to draw battle lines between themselves..... not unlike perps that draw lines in the sand and then extol "you are either with us, or against us"..... ...... not unlike the formulaic, monolithic engine that drives the factory like so much mint stamping out the two opposing sides of the the political-party coin...... not unlike the way this world serves up two basic choices for every single issue that can be dredged up for every single person in this world to fret or wax expert over .... not unlike the perpetual two-sided dichotomy manifesting among humanity every since humanity first learned to walk upright, unaided, on it's hind legs..... what a surprise, eh? ;)

#6 comes from Amazon. Generally speaking, an Amazon sometimes is and sometimes is not of the same caliber of the usual suspect expected to show up near the tops of lists proffering web search results. For the time being, there still is some actual life left in the internet. It has not, yet, been totally rendered into the same kind of artificial reality embodied by the monopolized media the way TV has.... it's going there, just not there, yet. For now, it's not always the case, just often the case that given results of web searches show up closer to the top of the list simply because somebody, generally in conjunction with some thing somewhere in some crack or shady corner paid for it to show up near the top if not the top. Amazon is a specimen example of a something that lurks in dark places paying "good money" for the privilege of receiving a good rate of return - more money.
Amazon provides "10 customer reviews" of the book - The Energy Non-Crisis, by Lindsey Williams. While Amazon does not allow its web frequenters to anonymously express their sense of pettiness a la "click a blue thingy that turns green .... nobody will know ... except for Homeland Security, nobody will know it was you who clicked the blue thingy turned green!!", it does include the use of "_____ users found the following helpful" as an accessory attached to the still-popular star-rating-system ;)
I've seen Williams' video on Google and this just doesn't ring true to me. He says Kissinger tried to make a deal with all the oil-producing countries and Saddam Hussein wouldn't go along with it, so we encouraged Saddam to invade Kuwait so we'd have a pretext to get rid of him (in other words, we set him up). For one thing, Saddam wasn't even in power when Kissinger was Secretary of State (Saddam took power in 1979). OK, so maybe Williams meant that....
Defies Logic... well, whether Steve D realized it or not, at least he said it in plain English right up front, and then promptly proceeded to not disappoint. The reprobate better known as Kissinger was originally placed into a power position, like a programmed parasite, or germ cell, to increasingly spread evil & influence over the globe, from as early as the Kennedy years. ... but Steve asserts that such forces cannot manifest until they are first, formally placed in front of the world to see by way of the TV and positions like Secretary of State. Steve then goes on to balance his wonderment "logic" by mixing in the ample bits of obligatory, 2-sided partisan political bickering, like, why, oh why, Mr Smarty Pants, if what Williams says is true, did not one Bill Clinton step in while given the opportunity and fix this fomenting global energy oil crisis mess? 'Cmon Steve, every political wonk knows that Bill was busy, too busy to fix anything, not even his zipper. He and the little Mrs were busy being quite preoccupied with: toasting Branch Davidians; accumulating charges of sexual assault; not inhaling unless of course it involved special-dip cigars; accumulating body bags; bombing Serbia; looting the public trust; granting pardons; and, of course accumulating the legacy-building required in "balancing the budget". LOL! Poor Steve. For the bean-counter-lovers among us, be sure to check out the review that comes by way of a lover of all known statistics in Durham, North Carolina.... and if there are any Twin Peaks fans out there, you are in for a delight. Who knew there were Peak Oil Myth twins? Word of a second comes from Alaska, no less! Here you have it: Hubbert and Ruppert, a veritable Frick & Frack, Heckle & Jeckle, Blue & Red wrapped up like so much twin peak oil peas in the proverbial pod.
Here then is a comment from the other side of the coin.
There is great information presented here, but as evidenced by the wide range of opinions and ratings, people believe what they want and reject what doesn't agree with their world view, as manipulated by the zeitgeist that fortunately for now at least, includes Amazon.com. So believe this: In 1999 .... oil was at $10 a barrel.... it's pushing $140 a barrel, the world is less free.... Exxon is making record profits while getting massive federal subsidies...We're just one more Middle-Eastern invasion away from $200 a barrel oil.... So believe what you want, vote for more war, pay your sub-prime mortgage, bend over at the gas pump and watch a little more TV before you vote. Talk about getting HOSED! Read this book before you dismiss it--Or watch the reverend on YouTube while you still can, since this book is obviously going away.

This is because real wealth is people!
Oil helps of course but without people there is no wealth!"Henry Kissinger, in what then was in no official capacity, was talking to the Saudis, and chiding them for selling their oil for only a slight markup over the cost of getting it out of the ground. Texas Crude was still in plentiful supply, and there was almost zero environmentalist activity preventing further exploration and estraction. They had so much natural gas, that it was flared off as a waste product at refineries, just as a safety precaution. But overly cheap Saudi oil was preventing the Texas wildcatters from making the margins they would have liked to make, and the Cold War made the idea of importing so much of this crude oil seem a bad idea.
The Saudis, reluctant at first to take this advice, saw some virtue in kicking up their prices just a little, and kind of got into the habit, so to speak. OPEC was largely built to protect this nascent international oil trading, and with the oil crisis of 1972 and 1973 (still the Nixon years, you recall, and with Henry Kissinger exerting a totally excessive amount of influence within the Administration), the lessons of years earlier took hold.
Henry Kissinger may not have been a goverment figure in 1960, but he had been doing a lot of advising in years prior to Nixon coming to office."
