We had little wind and only two short
bursts of rain. This afternoon was one
and one of the storm cells came rushing
up the hill with dramatic clouds that
seemed to touch the tree tops. I was a
little mesmerized as I drove the VW
bus like a maniac to get mail before
the wind did pick up. The angus at the
ranch at the end of the road were running
as if in a marathon. That also was a
pretty awesome sight. Yesterday we had
flocks of birds flying in to escape
the storm. We barely got enough rain
though to wet the orchard and not
enough the whole week to give anything
a good soaking.

Watched on television though and the
damage to South Padre was sure severe.
For me, it has been similar to you V.
It was nice enough to lay out and get
sun both days and other than the sky
having some spectacular cloud formations,
nothing over a blustery day to brag about.
