Clean out your colon. Get a series of colonics. Your colon therapist can tell what you're releasing and may suggest additional cleanses (liver flushes, home enemas, herbs, etc.). Or go to a naturopathic physician, if there's one in your area.

I'd suggest reading "The Mood Cure" by Julia Ross. Also, Daniel G. Amen has written a few books that would probably help. I suggest starting with "Healing the Hardware of the Soul" and "Making a Good Brain Great."

I would consider what it is you are afraid of people seeing in you. Think on why you're afraid of peoples judgments or opinions of you. They don't matter because they don't control or own you in anyway.

I think if you can allow yourself to realize that most people have inhibitions and inside they want people to like them then you aren't any different from others. That can give you some comfort in social situations, since many times people will over think about themselves in the moment, judging themselves and worrying.

Instead try to be the comfort to the other person and you'll find your inhibitions just disappear as your attention will be turned away from yourself and onto the other. Besides that EVERYONE likes a person who listens ; )

I used to have HUGE phobias of speaking to anyone, I just worked through it and even now when I catch myself becoming overanalytical and stuttering in conversation, I stop myself and realize that I'm thinking about myself when my attention should be placed on the other person I'm conversing with. The instant I do this it's as if all my inhibitions go away, you become more responsive, instead of filtering everything through your mind and trying to judge how the other person will respond. Get ahead of this way of thinking and just realize it doesn't matter, what matters is that you make yourself feel comfortable and try to bring this feeling to whoever you meet.

Hi Luke, yes social phobia can ruin your life. You have youth on your side however. And there is so much more out there to help, more than when i was your age.
What has been working for me is Seredyn. Been using it for about 6 months as needed. Also try magnesium taurate, b vits, especially b3, niacinamide, l-theanine. Some of these are in Seredyn anyway. I'm experimenting taking some of the ingredients seperately and adding other stuff.

I'm off on my hols, so it will be a great test for Seredyn. Will let you know how i coped. I'll probably take it daily, maybe maximum dose.
If you take on empty stomach it works in 15 minutes and lasts most of the day. I take 3, if i have to do something where i don't feel able to cope. It really calms you down, well it does for me anyway, might be worth a try.

Luke, I used to have a very severe social phobia and got completely cured with homeopathy. I had it for many years and suffered so much with it. I know exactly what you are going through. You should look for a homeopathy doctor. A good one. Good Luck!
