Hi Shorty. I wonder sometimes what the agendas are of each involved. Who stands to profit, and who is coerced by the cult like following. I know what my motives are, and believe me, I'm not in line to make money one way or another. But who is? Why all the testing. Because of a firm belief, or the promise of wealth. Who knows what each person involved is doing it for. Sure would help if we knew, wouldn't it?
I think that one problem in a debate is that if you change your mind about it, to do so would be impossible to talk about on the board. Talk about wrath being poured down on ones head! So people seem to stick with the original beliefs, and nobody would be allowed to admit that maybe they were wrong. Or partially wrong. So the agendas then get screwed up even more. See what I mean? Are you still arguing because you still believe that it is a bad thing? Or are you stuck in a rut arguing it because you can't back down without ridicule? Agendas are key, and that's the one thing that we can't find out.
