Hi texxassprincess, you are welcome!
But a couple of tips, you are still using that four letter word. Don't. Your mantra should be "I will suceeed"
Now, regarding this instrument of torture of yours, your treadmill. I have to tell you that I have fasted on and off for 6 months and I have not been anywhere near a treadmill, or a gym, though I have ridden a bike on flat ground, twice. I prefer walks, it's a lot easier. And I was over 50% body fat, and body mass index 42. I won't post a picture of myself at that weight, yet. And I am not happy with my weight now, but I am happiER, and I know in which direction I am heading.
I prefer to sit at my PC and do graphs like
this, and plan a holiday in 6 months as a reward. In fact, blue sky today, and I can hear those birds singing, so I know where I will be in an hour. Of course, each to their own, but I am just wondering if you are sort of beating yourself up every day by forcing yourself to do strenuous things as a punishment for being fat. For me, why should I bother, I am losing weight at the correct rate, perhaps a bit too fast even. Besides, manyana, I can always exercise tomorrow... ;-). Actually I like exercise to be meaningful, so I plan to go scuba diving somewhere nice. So if you really want to use a treadmill and do other strenuous things, and if you are used to doing that sort of thing, then fine. But beware, it will possibly make you dizzy, worn out - and hungry.
The other thing is (and you won't really be able to grasp this for some time yet) that after a properly done fast or two, you won't even be interested in McDonalds. So it gets EASIER.
Why don't you go and get a weight ticker, or do a graph on a spreadsheet? Your main GOAL is weight loss, yes?
From a previous life I always remember a sales presentation with some guy (he was famous, and GOOD, but I won't mention his name). He told this person in the front row to crumple up a paper ball and throw it in a waste bin which he placed in front of him. The person threw it in the bin, so he gave him the ball back, and told him to do it with his eyes shut. As soon as his eyes were closed the presenter moved the bin, and he threw the ball on the floor, missing the bin. "What went wrong?" he said. "HE COULDN'T SEE WHAT HE WAS AIMING FOR!" we all shouted. So from that day on I always remember that it's no good aiming for a goal unless you can see it clearly.
And unless I am mistaken, your goal is weight loss, as opposed to using a treadmill, playing dance revolution, or lowering blood pressure (though the latter will come naturally with weight loss). So texxassprincess, I am sure you will succeed with the correct choice of words, and if you can see your goals clearly, and and are prepared to learn as you go along. All I can tell you is that it can be a bit boring, and you may get impatient sometimes. But you know you have to put up with that.
So congratulations on what you have achieved so far, and good luck in the forthcoming weeks and months!
