Before I got well, I was supplementing around 1500-2000 mg of vitamin C per day.
Now that I'm well, I eat 90% fruit, so I don't supplement at all except for some herbal cleanses.
Supplementing imo, is kind of ignoring the problem that your digestion is not working well. There are two ways to get it on track. Either eat things that humans were made to digest (ie. fruit) or you have to distilled water-only fast in order to heal your stomach and liver, because they are obviously no longer doing the job.
