I got some concerns, I would like to share with you.
I'm currently battling candida overgrowth. Its not a severe case, since i'm only 18 years old, so I havent had this overgrowth for that long.
Im doing a low carb diet, with lean meats high in proteins together with antifungals, prebiotics and probiotics. And my normal supplements like cod liver fish oil and so on.
Once im clear of my candida, how do I maintain it the right way?
Im thinking about the following:
- Doing a low-GI diet blended with some Paleo-aspects in it aswell.
- Very high on vegetables, plenty of lean meat, essential oils.
- Limit my fruit intake, and only eat low GI fruits
- Implent some Low GI grains, without touching gluten, wheat or refined
Sugar + dairy products.
- Keep taking prebiotics and probiotics for a healthy flora.
Is there anything else I can do to keep my sotmach/health in a good condition?
Earlier in my teenage-years I were infected by acne, and then I took
Antibiotics . Thats why im batteling candida today. But i've had tests done, and they show that my androgens are in balance now. So I guess im over puberty and teenage-acne. I don't break out anymore either, so the last cause of my
Acne were probably candida overgrowth.
Any advice would help me alot! =)
